ARVIX
(Updated for Arvix / UK Commercial Catering Supply — 2025)
Business Purchase Confirmation (Very Important)
Arvix operates primarily as a business-to-business (B2B) supplier of commercial catering equipment.
During checkout, all customers must confirm the following statement:
“I confirm that I am purchasing on behalf of a business customer, and NOT as a consumer, and I understand that consumer cancellation rights (including the 14-day cooling-off period) do not apply to this order.”
By ticking this box and completing your order:
-
You confirm that the purchase is made for business use
-
You agree that the order is governed by B2B Terms of Sale
-
You acknowledge that Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (including cooling-off rights) do not apply
-
You agree that all returns, cancellations and refunds follow B2B rules, including restocking fees and courier charges
If you are not purchasing on behalf of a business, you must not proceed with checkout.
1. Who We Are
Arvix supplies commercial catering equipment and related products.
Arvix is a trading name used for the sale and supply of equipment.
All purchases through Arvix are treated as B2B transactions, regardless of customer type, due to the mandatory business declaration at checkout.
2. Goods Being Sold
2.1 All sales are processed as business-to-business transactions.
2.2 Product images, dimensions and features may vary due to manufacturer updates; minor variations do not constitute defects.
2.3 Customers must verify product details, sizes and specifications before ordering.
2.4 Accepting delivery confirms that the goods supplied match the product description.
3. Pricing & Payment
3.1 Prices displayed exclude VAT unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Prices may change without prior notice.
3.3 Arvix is not required to honour incorrect prices due to listing errors.
3.4 Orders may undergo security, fraud or credit checks.
4. Delivery
4.1 Delivery is kerbside to ground floor only.
4.2 Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary.
4.3 The customer must ensure access and equipment (pump truck, forklift, staff, etc.) to move goods.
4.4 Do not book installation engineers before inspecting delivered goods.
4.5 Missed deliveries incur redelivery fees.
4.6 Delivery restrictions must be disclosed prior to dispatch.
4.7 Next-day delivery is subject to stock and courier capability.
4.8 Delivery delays outside our control do not create liability.
5. Cancellations
5.1 All cancellations must be made in writing.
5.2 Cancellation within 1 hour of order: 5% fee
After 1 hour: 25% cancellation fee
5.3 If dispatched: 25% restocking fee + courier fees
5.4 Refusing delivery counts as cancellation after dispatch.
6. Damaged Shipments
6.1 Goods must be checked at delivery.
6.2 If damaged, you must refuse the delivery.
6.3 Accepted deliveries are deemed in good condition.
6.4 Damage must be reported within 24 hours with photos.
6.5 Products without original packaging cannot be returned.
7. Returns Policy (B2B)
Because Arvix operates under B2B terms, the consumer 14-day cooling-off period does not apply.
7.1 Returns are accepted only for unused, unopened goods in original packaging.
7.2 Returns incur:
-
25% restocking fee
-
Courier fees (both ways)
7.3 Refunds are processed after inspection and may be reduced for missing parts, damage or repackaging.
7.4 If goods are unpacked but unused, restocking fees may increase to 35%.
7.5 Goods delivered to incorrect return addresses (sent without authorisation) will not be processed.
8. Cooling-Off Period Clarification
Under UK law (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013), cooling-off rights apply only to B2C personal-use purchases.
Because Arvix requires a B2B declaration at checkout:
-
The order is legally classified as B2B
-
The cooling-off period does not apply
-
Returns follow the B2B policy outlined in Section 7
9. Warranty
9.1 Standard warranty: 12 months parts-only, unless stated otherwise.
